So I have liked this guy for about 2 years, and apparently he likes me back but he isn't doing anything, my friends were sick of seeing me beat myself up over it so they told him that by the end of January he has to either ask me out or stop trailing me along. I get that they care but I'm mad at them for not talking to me about it first. I'm not sure how to handle whatever his answer would end up being. I'm really stressed and I need some help!

I agree with your friend’s opinion but disagree with the way they handled things. I understand that they are just looking out for you but they could have made an effort to talk to you about it first. Being that those are semantics, tell your friends that you appreciate what they did but would rather handle your guy issues on your own. And about the guy, listen, I have been there. It sucks. Honestly, it’s gonna be hard, but drop him. Now. If he is unsure about his feelings or if he hasn’t asked you out by now, then it doesn’t look like the beginning of healthy relationship. Find a guy who loves you for you and who will fight to be yours. This isn’t him. I hope everything works out!
